MedicDay

Terms and conditions

Last updated: 20 October 2026

These terms apply to MedicDay, the software at medicday.com and on the websites it runs for clinics and pharmacies. MedicDay is provided by YRO Systems Private Limited (GSTIN 33AAACY5770E1ZE), corporate office: 17 Swamys Square, 3rd Cross Street, Vijayanagaram, Velachery 600042 ("MedicDay", "we", "us"). By creating an account, or by using a page MedicDay serves, you agree to them.

1. Who these terms are for

  • Account holders: clinics, doctors and pharmacies that use MedicDay to run their practice or shop, and the people they add to their account ("you", "the clinic").
  • Patients and customers: people who book a visit, pay a bill, order medicines, read a receipt or prescription link, or answer a feedback survey on a page MedicDay serves for a clinic or pharmacy.
  • Partners: people in the MedicDay partner programme also follow the terms shown when they join.

2. What MedicDay is, and is not

  • MedicDay is software. It helps a doctor record a consultation, prescribe, bill, keep a queue, and helps a pharmacy sell, keep stock and take orders.
  • MedicDay is not a healthcare provider and gives no medical advice. Every diagnosis, prescription, dose and decision is the doctor's or the pharmacist's.
  • Where MedicDay drafts a record from a doctor's dictation, or reads a prescription or invoice photo, the draft can be wrong. Nothing is saved until the doctor or pharmacist checks and confirms it, and they are responsible for what they confirm.
  • The clinic or pharmacy, not MedicDay, provides the consultation, the medicines and the service a patient pays for.

3. Your account

  • You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time code. Keep your phone and codes to yourself; you are responsible for what is done in your account, including by the people you add to it.
  • Give correct details about your clinic or pharmacy, including registrations, GSTIN and licences you are required to hold. Keep them up to date.
  • Use MedicDay only for lawful purposes and only for your own patients and customers. Do not try to reach another account's data, break or overload the service, or copy the software.
  • We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts patients or other users at risk. Where we can, we tell you first and give you a chance to fix it.

4. Patient data

  • Patient records belong to the clinic or pharmacy that keeps them. It decides why and how they are used; MedicDay processes them on its behalf, only to provide the service. See the privacy policy.
  • The clinic is responsible for having the patient's consent where the law asks for it, including before sending messages on WhatsApp and before reading a prescription photo.
  • Voice transcription and reading of documents use Google's Gemini service, through a key the clinic or pharmacy provides. Raw audio is deleted within 24 hours of the record being confirmed.

5. Fees

  • There is no subscription fee at present. MedicDay charges a Platform fee on payments made online through MedicDay (payment links, QR payments, online bookings and online orders), as set out on Payments, cancellations and refunds and in the account's Settings → Payments.
  • If we introduce a subscription or change the Platform fee, we will tell account holders at least 30 days before it applies. You may close your account before then.
  • An account in the Early Access Program has its plan at ₹0 and pays no Platform fee, as the Early Access Program terms set out.

6. Availability and changes

  • We work to keep MedicDay available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Keep the paper records the law asks you to keep.
  • We improve MedicDay over time and may change or remove features. We will tell you before a change that takes away something you rely on.

7. Messages

MedicDay sends WhatsApp messages (sign-in codes, receipts, prescriptions, booking and order updates) through Meta's WhatsApp Business service, only to people who agreed to receive them. A prescription is sent only as a password-protected file, and a message never names a medicine or a diagnosis.

8. Liability

  • MedicDay is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or lost data, or for clinical decisions made using the software.
  • Our total liability to an account holder for any claim is limited to the Platform fees that account paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
  • Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

9. Closing an account

You may stop using MedicDay at any time by writing to us (see Contact). We will help you export your records. After closing, we keep records only as long as the law requires, then delete them.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to resolve it.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; we tell account holders of important changes before they apply.
